// Exploring AI in music and the creative process
Exploring the possibilities.
Welcome to Aerith Aria!
Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started playing the piano when I was four years old and have been singing for most of my life. I'm currently exploring how AI can be woven into the creative process, discovering what new ideas AI can spark and how it can help me evolve as a musician.I'm also deeply passionate and curious about how technology can open doors for creatives everywhere. It's an interesting time right now, and I too have a lot of questions around how we adapt to the new landscape that's in front of us. This project is my personal exploration into understanding how to leverage AI so that it feels aligned in creating authentically.Aerith Aria (named after my favorite video game character) is an AI-generated persona. All images on this site are created using AI with training around my real-life image, which is another part of what I'm exploring. Thanks for joining me on the journey :) - Jess

Projects
"One In a Million"
My dad and I wrote this song together when I was 16. He did the lyrics, and I did the music. I recorded it back in 2009, but it sat there for a long time. AI gave it new life with a music video that captured the message so well created through Kaiber.
"Lighthouse of Dreams"
The music is fully original for this one. I created a custom GPT trained on my catalog of previously created lyrics from original songs to help craft the lyrics for this (mixture of ChatGPT and human touch). The music video was created in Kaiber and tells the story of digital creators, represented by the raccoon. Sponsored by Podia.
Udio Profile
For creating music, Udio is insane. I like making instrumentals with this one and then creating melodies and layering piano overtop. It's also been really cool for creating tracks to improvise over. I also love that you can feed it lyrics that you've previously written. Most tracks are generated in 30 second increments and can be easily extended from there in additional 30 second increments.
